Mariegold is a serial entrepreneur, self-taught hairstylist and owner of Truhairven Beauty Bar Inc. She discovered her passion for hairstyling right after her post graduate studies at the University of Ottawa. Over the years, she finetuned her skills to become one of the best sort hairstylists in the Ottawa/Gatineau area with a wide range and mix of clientele. Her tenacity, passion, talent and professionalism has enabled her to excel in her craft and grow her clientele. Her experience working out of a salon and research helped her to realize the huge gap in the black hair industry especially in Ottawa and its environs. Her vision is to standardize black hair care at salons, offering a variety of beauty services under one umbrella including braids, weaves, crochet, micro-links, wax, facials, make up, threading, barbering services, nail care etc. Her goal is to create a comfortable and professional space that renders these services at exceptional price points while providing excellent customer service experience.

Chinenye, is the owner of Shakara_designs, and is a Certified Professional Makeup Artist, Bridal Hair-stylist and Beauty Educator. She has over ten years’ experience in the industry and has been featured and published in many local and international magazines. She specializes in beauty makeup and hair styling and offers services for special events and commercial photoshoots. Chinenye’s passion gives her the opportunity to be creative, meet different personalities from all walks of life and make women feel and look fabulous.
